Shut up Tarantino

I'm assuming most of you saw Casino Royale and agree it's a very entertaining movie. I haven't had that much fun at a movie for a while.

But check out what Tarantino had to say about it: article

Someone needs to give him a shot of STFU. That's awesome how filming the movie like how the book was written is his original idea. Sorta like how the pretentious Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill are original genres he invented because he's much more cinematically enlightened than the rest of us? Someone get that douchebag back in a Blockbuster store because that's where he belongs.

Insulting Casino Royale is equated with insulting Daniel Craig.

Shut up, Q. Both "Kill Bill" movies were just your attempts to impress Uma and get into her pants.

Sounds like the potential directors made their pitches and QT's was to do Casino Royale rather than a new script (as has been the case for the last 20 films). Then they went with a different director and his pitch.

Granted he is pretentious - like everyone in Hollywood - but it stands to reason he was the only potential director who wanted to do a prequel.

I presonally dislike the out-of-chrono-order idea (that this is the first Bond). He wins the DB5 and twenty minutes later is driving a DB9.

I wish Bob Dylan would have punched QT into next week.

QT's version of Bond would probably involve Bond debating with Le Chiffre about the possibility of the Silver Surfer impregnating an earth bound mutant like Psylocke with his Galactus-powered sperm between rounds of poker in a trailer park while Vesper Lynd (Uma Thurman in a starring role) rips off another kung-fu movie (that, of course, only QT knows about) in the background.
